Condition Based Servicing (CBS)
BMW and MINI vehicles equipped with condition-based servicing use onboard sensors to monitor key components and fluids. This allows maintenance to be carried out as required, based on actual vehicle usage and condition.
Service Interval Indicator (SII)
Earlier BMW and MINI models may use a service interval indicator system, which tracks mileage and driving conditions to determine when servicing is due. Notifications are provided to indicate upcoming mainrenance requirements, typically including oil services and scheduled inspection checks.
